Coral labs looking for a color chemist with training and experience in polymer synthesis, characterization, and coatings. We are building brand new technology in nail care and you will be a contributor to our nail polish formulation development activities. You will be responsible for helping with fluid property and mechanical property measurements and will lead the color development activities.
You will:
Develop color offerings based on marketing and trends
Make sure color formulations conform to product chemistry requirements
Perform all necessary stability and compatibility tests on formulations
Help with additional development of base chemistry
You have:
BS in Chemistry/Polymer Chemistry/Materials Science (or related field) with 0-3 years industrial experience in polymer synthesis, characterization, or coatings
Experience in general chemistry lab techniques required
Broad knowledge in polymer chemistry and characterization
Proficiency in color matching and color characterization a plus
Experience in paint and coatings or other thin film applications a plus
Experience in mechanical testing of polymers a plus
Experience in the cosmetics industry a plus
